Tanked: Real...er Reality

So, every few months it seems like reality series start to reappear on my TV. I forgot how much I enjoyed watching "Tanked" on Animal Planet until I came across the mini marathon that is in-process tonight. One thing I have noticed about a lot of "reality" TV as of late is how fake it seems. We all know that much of reality TV follows a loose script. Many reality TV shows do a poor job at hiding this script, and the reality TV stars do a poor job at "acting" real. "Tanked" is definitely not one of these shows, and I think a lot has to do with the main characters, Wayde and Brett. These guys are fun-loving, passionate about what they do, and very real people. Of course, this show also follows a rough script, but it takes a backseat to the characters in the show and the fish tanks that they are constructing. I have a couple thoughts about the shows I've been watching. The keg tank that was given as a wedding gift was the perfect tank for a man cave. That lady has been written in for the 2012 nominations for Wife of the Year. The pinball tank turned out amazing! Final thought: I cannot believe how much Wayde reminds me of Kevin James. Who knew the King of Queens made fish tanks?!?!
